The Broadway revival of Tennessee Williams’ The Rose Tattoo, starring Marisa Tomei, opened at The American Airlines Theatre in 2019. The production featured an impressionistic set by Mark Wendland depicting the Gulf Coast, with a backdrop of pink flamingos, tangled power lines, and expansive ocean projections.
