Say Their Names is a large-scale projection installation that covers the facade of New York’s historic Public Theater. It is the culmination of several months of collaboration among freelance designers, independent artists, and staff at The Public who have worked together to memorialize Black lives lost to police violence. Running more than five and half hours, the projections include the names of more than 2,100 individuals killed since 2013, along with specific details about their lives and deaths.
